Lukas Fracasso-Verner won the 2026 InTheBx Open at Raxx Billiards on Long Island, defeating Japan’s Naoyuki Oi in the final. The 24-year-old American competed against 57 players in the $10,000-added World Nineball Tour qualifying event.
The tournament used a double-elimination Stage 1 that narrowed the field to a final 16 players—eight from each side of the bracket. The remaining 16 players were then re-drawn into four single-elimination money rounds to determine the champion. Fracasso-Verner faced notable competitors including Jayson Shaw, Konrad Juszczyszyn, and finalist Naoyuki Oi, with six players in the field carrying FargoRates in the 800s.
Fracasso-Verner entered the event with a 747 FargoRate and faced 12 players rated higher. His six opponents had an average FargoRate of 741. He won without a loss through both the winners’ side of the double-elimination bracket and the subsequent single-elimination rounds.
This victory marks a significant achievement for Fracasso-Verner, who has been tracked by AZBilliards since 2015. The win places him at #41 on the 2026 AZBilliards Money Leaderboard, his highest position to date, and represents his best earnings year. Previously, he had peaked at #47 in Matchroom Pool rankings with $41,800 in career prize money.
Runner-up Naoyuki Oi entered the tournament with an 800+ FargoRate but lost to Fracasso-Verner in the final. The victory earned Fracasso-Verner valuable WNT ranking points.
