Team USA retained the Mosconi Cup with an 11-8 victory over Team Europe at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The defending champions won the title on the final day of competition.
After trailing 2-3 following the opening day, Team USA climbed back into contention. Team USA took control on day three, building an 8-7 lead heading into the final day.
On the final day, Billy Thorpe defeated Jayson Shaw 5-3. Shane van Boening then defeated Alexander Kazakis 5-3, putting Team USA at 10-8 and one match away from the title.
Skyler Woodward clinched the cup by defeating Joshua Filler 5-3. Woodward earned his second consecutive Most Valuable Player award.
The victory was decided by narrow margins. While USA won 11-8 in matches, the total game count was 66-65, reflecting the competitive nature of the four-day event.
