Team Europe won their third consecutive Mosconi Cup title, defeating the United States 11-7 at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. The 22nd edition of the tournament saw the Americans perform competitively. Under captain Marcus Chamat, Team Europe took a narrow 3-2 lead after the first session.
Dutch legend Niels Feijen won his singles match 5-2 over Justin Bergman, while the American duo of Shane Van Boening and Skyler Woodward won their doubles match 5-1 against Darren Appleton and Albin Ouschan.
Feijen earned Most Valuable Player honors. Europe's team included Karl Boyes, Nick van den Berg, Albin Ouschan, and Darren Appleton. Team USA, led by Shane Van Boening and featuring Skyler Woodward, competed in the event but fell short in the final matches.
Captain Chamat noted that the American team's performance improved compared to previous years. The tournament took place over four days at the Tropicana with approximately 1,000 fans in attendance. Europe's 11-7 victory extended their dominance in the Mosconi Cup series.
