The 2013 WPA Women’s World Ten-ball Championship saw Philippines’ Rubilen Amit defeat England’s Kelly Fisher 10-7 in the final. Amit won her second World Ten-ball Championship title, having previously won the inaugural tournament in 2009 in the Philippines. This victory made her the first female player to win the World Ten-ball Championship twice.

Amit, from Cebu, followed Fisher's 2011 title and Kim Ga-young's 2012 championship with her own victory. By defeating Fisher in the final, Amit returned to the top of ten-ball competition.

Fisher was making her second appearance in a World Ten-ball final. The English player had won the World Ten-ball Championship in 2011, defeating Taiwan’s Tsai Pei-chen 10-4. Fisher is known primarily for her nine-ball accomplishments but also competed at a high level in ten-ball. She continued competing at the professional level in the years following this tournament.

The championship represented continued growth of women’s ten-ball as a major discipline. The WPA had established the women’s-specific championship four years earlier. Amit’s victory further established the Philippines as a dominant force in women’s pool. The tournament’s competitive field showed that ten-ball had become a major event in women’s professional pool alongside nine-ball.

Amit’s 2013 triumph held long-term significance: the championship would not be held again until 2022, nine years later. This extended gap made Amit the defending champion for nearly a decade, underscoring the importance of her victory and establishing her legacy as one of the greatest ten-ball players in the women’s game.
