Ralf Souquet won his record-setting sixth World Pool Masters title at the 2011 edition held at SM North EDSA Mall in Quezon City, Philippines. The German player, known as The Kaiser, defeated defending champion Dennis Orcollo 8-5 in the final.

The tournament used a 16-player single-elimination bracket with race-to-8 matches and winner breaks rules. Players competed in opening rounds where losses resulted in immediate elimination from the tournament.

Orcollo reached the final after victories over Tony Drago and Chang Jung-lin, and defeated Fu Jianbo 8-4 in the semifinals. Orcollo was attempting to become the second player to successfully defend a World Pool Masters title.

Souquet won the final match 8-5 against Orcollo, capturing the 2011 title at the event held in the Philippines.

The winner received $20,000 with $70,000 in total prize money distributed across the tournament. The 2011 World Pool Masters was a premier invitational 9-ball tournament. Souquet's sixth title marked his record achievement in the event's history.
