The 2011 Mosconi Cup saw Team Europe defeat the United States 11-7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The 18th edition of this nine-ball competition was held December 8-11.
Dutch player Niels Feijen was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Feijen defeated American Rodney Morris 6-0 in singles play.
Team Europe's roster included Chris Melling and Darren Appleton from the United Kingdom, Germany's Ralf Souquet, and Dutch players Nick van den Berg and MVP Feijen. Non-playing captain Johan Ruijsink led the European team. Team USA was captained by Charlie Williams and included Shane Van Boening, Johnny Archer, and Shawn Putnam.
Europe took a 6-3 lead after the opening rounds. The tournament format included singles, doubles, and team matches across multiple rounds.
