The 2010 WPA Yalin Women's World 10-Ball Championship in Manila was held from October 23-29 with a prize fund of $71,000. Austria's Jasmin Ouschan won the title, becoming one of the few European women to win a world pool title during this period.

Ouschan turned professional in 2002 and joined the WPBA officially in 2007. The 24-year-old from Klagenfurt was ranked among the world's top players and had appeared in top ten women's prize money standings since 2006.

The final matched Ouschan against South Korea's Kim Ga-young, born January 13, 1983. Ouschan won the championship and collected $20,000, while Kim earned $9,000 as runner-up. The semi-final lineup included Kelly Fisher and Rubilen Amit, who each received $5,000 for third-place finishes.

Ouschan had competed regularly with men on the Euro Tour and in 2008 became the first woman to earn a medal in an open world pool championship. Her Manila victory added to her competitive achievements at the highest levels of the sport.

The championship victory was a significant career milestone for Ouschan in women's professional pool. Her success in 10-ball demonstrated her technical skills and experience in competitive match play at the world championship level.
