The 1995 US Open Nine-ball Championship saw Mississippi’s Reed Pierce defeat Efren "The Magician" Reyes 11-6 in the final. Pierce’s victory prevented Reyes from winning back-to-back US Open titles, as the Filipino player had won the championship in 1994.

Pierce advanced through the tournament to the semifinals, where he defeated Francisco Bustamante. Reyes reached the final by defeating Johnny Archer in the other semifinal, setting up a matchup between the defending champion and the American challenger.

The final was broadcast with commentary provided by pool legends Buddy Hall, Nick Varner, and Steve Mizerak. Reyes entered as the favorite. Pierce won the match 11-6, taking control early and maintaining his lead throughout.
